I’ll make this quick, as this is not of my own brain. As this site is a type of record keeping, I wanted to make sure that I get it posted up so that it could help others find the answer when stumbling across it.
An object in the SharePoint administrative framework, "SPWebApplication Name=SharePoint - 80", could not be deleted because other objects depend on it. Update all of these dependants to point to null or different objects and retry this operation. The dependant objects are as follows:On Thursday, March 14, 2019, Jaison A posted Solution- unable to Remove corrupted Web Application -SharePoint 2013/2016 and this really helped me out.
What held true on SharePoint 2016 still holds up on SharePoint 2019.
